Export Preferences: ‘Settings’

Normal topicExport Preferences: ‘Settings’

If I export preferences with everything checked no plist file is created.
If I export preferences with all but ‘Settings’ checked a plist file is created.
If I export preferences with only ‘Settings’ checked no plist file is created.

(According to Yate Help ‘Settings’ covers everything not covered by the other settings groups.)

Is there something wrong with the ‘Settings’ export?

Something must be going on with your preferences as it works for me. Can you please send me the following file:

~Library/Preferences/com.2manyrobots.Yate.plist

I should be able to duplicate it with that file.

Hi, thanks for finding this. The bug was introduced in v2.4 and only affects users doing a new installation or using very old Yate preferences. This is fixed in v2.5 which will be released shortly.
