I'm trying to update my filenames to match the capitalization of my track titles. Could someone please tell me how to create a filter records where the title does not match (case sensitive) a portion of the filename. For example:

Title = "Do You Want to Know a Secret"
Filename = "Do You Want To Know A Secret - 1963.mp3"

Goal is to update the Filename to: "Do You Want to Know a Secret - 1963.mp3"

There's two ways to do this. One is to simply rename the the files with a rename template which is basically displayed in the attached screenshot. This will replicate the Title as is and append the Year.

If for some reason you only want to do this for particular tracks keeping everything after the - delimiter (without reading the Year field), it would have to be done in an action. The action could be put on the Rename menu.

Either way you go nothing will be modified unless necessary.

You can define the rename template based on the attached screenshot. If you really need to extract the metadata from the filename, let us know and we'll send you the action.
