With the latest version 6.3, Yate can't match a lot of songs when trying to use the Beatport Importer.
Is this a known issue?

I wish it was a Yate issue ... then I could fix it.

Something has degraded in the API or in the scope of files which can be accessed. I've verified this by testing external to Yate using their test tools.

They seem to be working on it as it improves for short periods and then degrades again. I've reached out to them a number of times but I have not yet heard back.

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do until they fix the issue.

I strongly recommend that everyone using the Importer should disable the Automatically select matches setting until this is resolved.

They must be working on it. On the evening of 2021-02-03 it completely recovered until the next morning at which point it degraded again.

It's working again today. I don't know how long it will stay up. For the last three weeks it's been working about one day per week.

yep! just came here to say that!

Here is the question: is there any way we could have an option to manually enter release ID, as Discogs importer allows? Sometimes it just would not match a track, Unmark for Import and Reload, does not help. Would be nice to have the ability to tell Beatport importer where to look for that track without closing the window.

For example, I just tagged a compilation. Out of 16 tracks, 15 tracks matched just fine but 1 would not match no matter what, and matched some other release, so I had to Unmatch it and then manually copy info.

v6.4 has options which allow you to set thresholds for better matching. The code was in the bag when the API access started to fall apart.

Actually Release ID will not help in the matching as only Track ID and/or Stem ID are used as a matching parameter. Beatport is really organized around tracks.

However, there is no need to close the Beatport Importer window. You can always go back to the main window and make changes. Every time the file selection is changed in the main window the Beatport Updater will refresh automatically. When doing this if a file in the new selection was already matched, the match will be preserved. You can then select the files in the Importer and do a Reload from the context menu.

My main concern now is to see what happens over the next few hours. We've been here before.

I managed to catch it today just as things stopped working. The server was throwing 500 errors until it settled down. The only thing I can surmise is that they're having server issues which stop access to a large part of their catalog.
