Normal topicintegrating musicbrainz search into my first action

Hi again

So im playing more and more with Yate and i am embarking on creating my first action to basically follow my classic tagging workflow (been using beets/picard mostly)

so i know i cant launch the music brainz wizard which works well. Question is how do i integrate this into my action.
i found there is a `Access AcousticBrainz` action. i tried to add this and choose `choose a release` in the `option preset`. but that still doesn't do much

im sure im missing something, can any one point me in the right direction?

many thanks

Z

You can search MusicBrainz and Discogs from an action. There's a pretty comprehensive action named 'Search Discogs/MusicBrainz' on the resource page. It also manipulates database files. You should be able to repurpose some of it.

I strongly recommend reading the 'Yate and the P Word' document on the resources page if you're getting into writing actions. Yate is somewhat unique in scripting in that you have to understand the parallelism of action statements. Grouped and Stepwise modes. It enables the power of Yate but it does make things harder to grasp.
