Normal topicRecover User Actions after OSX rebuild?

Hi,

My system went kaput and I had to reinstall OSX.

I thought Time Machine had failed me, so I have been keeping backups of ~/Library/Application Support/Yate... etc as well. However, slapping that over the freshly installed version does not seem to have recovered any User Actions at all.

Which directory are User Actions stored, so I can recover them?

Thanks
Rob

[Edited, as I gave Time Machine another go and can now go back to earlier points in system time]

Yate automatically backs up preferences.

The ~/Library/Application Support/Yate folder should contain files named: Backup YYYY-MM-DD-hh-mm-ss (.zip or .plist)

If you restore those files you can do a Yate>Import Preferences from Backup and load the newest file. It will get you everything except window placements, font sizes and some warnings might no longer be disabled.

Glad it worked. The backups are created each time Yate is run and are recycled after 10 (unless you change the limit) runs. I manually a backup via Yate>Export Preferences whenever I'm at a point where stuff must be retained so that I have an out of bounds restore point.
