Sort by Composer not working

When I sort by the Composer column, it does not seem to be working as expected. It seems to be affected by the Genre column. But, even that hypothesis is not completely accurate as that column is not sorted as expected.

What version of Yate are you running? v6.10 introduced a sorting bug which was fixed in v6.10.1. I've just tested your composer/genre layout on v6.10.1 and it is sorting as expected.

Also your screenshot shows that you are sorting by whatever column is to the left of composer.

6.10.1 and 12.4

Maybe I am doing something wrong. When I sort by composer, it is not in order. Here is an image of part of my sort.

Yes. How are you sorting? I've tried sorting by the column headers and by a saved sort and both work as expected.

Sorry. I misread your last post. Artist, Album Artist, Album, Composer and Title only use the same named sort fields if Preferences - FileList - Use sort field when sorting is enabled and the sort field is not empty.

I was sorting by the Composer column. Once I exposed the Sort Composer column, it was obvious that even the Composer column sorted by the Sort Composer tag. Sorry for taking up your time.
