Ok.....I go to preferences and change the setting to capitalize Artist and It does. But the title gets changed without 1st capital. Is there a way 2 transform different fields ?? I am trying stuff...I will get where i want to with your help....

problem with the capital letter is solved. Only the thing about the double Track number......

Sorry, are you getting duplicate track numbers? Can you please go to Preferences-Search. Click on the template you're using and send me a screen shot of the template field contents. Resize the window if necessary.

I took screen shots but how do I send them ?? I thought it would be like sending an attachment but I think you don't have that option.

Instead of using 'Submit Quick Reply' use the 'Reply' button. You can then upload images.

Hi, These are screen shots of the results. I need to see the contents of the template 'Track. Artist - Title' that you seem to be using.

Can you please go to Yate>Preferences-Search. Click on the template you're using (Track. Artist - Title) and send me a screen shot of the template field contents. Resize the preference window before taking the screen shot so that I can see the entire template. If I can see the template I can correct it. It seems to me that the template is:

<Track>. <Album> - <Track Pad2> - <Title>

I can't determine your case settings from your screen shot.

The template is in the 1st screen shot: Track. Artist - Title
The 1st. shot shows how the tracks look before I apply the template. The 2nd is the result. Some tracks come as Track.Title and when I apply the template I use for my collections, it duplicates the number as seen on shot 2. Here is a close up of the template I am using.

I forgot to tell you....this problem only happens when there is metadata missing and I only have the track names. So I add the group name in Itunes, drag the tracks to yate, link, and I have a command that extracts the data from Itunes.
If all the info is there, I can apply the template without duplicating the track number.
