Normal topicMapping a CustomList to a CustomPanel Field

Hello

I'm fairly new to Yate and although I searched could not find any previous comments to help me.

I'm trying to figure out how to use a List i created under Settings/Lists as the drop down values for a field I add to a Custom Panel.

I've read that you can associate them but can't figure out how to do that.

I'm using:
Yate Version 8.3.6 (12477.12477) [ARM64] (R)

Thanks for any help or insight you can provide.

Hi,

Go to Settings - Lists. Change the control on the top left of the panel to say: List Mappings

You'll see a list of built in and custom fields. Scroll down until you see the field you're interested in. On the row with your field, click in the list column and select the list you want to associate with. The menu dropdown control will appear automatically.

If you assigned a UDTI to the Custom panel you must create a Custom field and map that to the panel instead. You can only map a list to a field.

Thanks for your quick response, it helped me. 🙂

I was getting confused with UDTI and Custom Fields after reading your last line above, reviewing the docs and the screens a understood my confusion 💡 and was able to get it sorted out.

Thanks again.
